Delek Children’s Foundation
We are committed to providing education and healthcare to underprivileged children in the Himalayas.
Delek Children’s Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to providing children in need with education and healthcare throughout the Himalayan region of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet, irrespective of their ethnicity and national boundaries.
Our mission is to educate the Himalayan children, allowing them to attend High School and College, raise their children with education, and eventually help their communities. Educating these children gives them the proper nutrition and tools to develop into productive adults, have a better future, and continue the cycle for future generations while saving the traditions and culture of the Himalayan people.
VISION CARE CAMP 2026 – ARUNACHAL PRADESH, INDIA

Vision Care Camp 2026 – Restoring Sight, Transforming Lives
We are pleased to announce yet another life-changing initiative by Delek Children’s Foundation. We are excited to organize this Vision Care Camp in September 2026 in partnership with renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Bidya Prasad Pant from Nepal. After several months of planning, we were fortunate to reconnect with Dr. Pant, who warmly accepted our request and agreed to join our upcoming Vision Care Camp in Arunachal Pradesh, India.
This initiative will mark our sixth Free Eye Camp in India and Nepal. For this year’s program, we have selected two locations in West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh: Tenzingang, a Tibetan refugee settlement, and Dirang. These locations were chosen after receiving numerous requests from residents in these remote communities.
Many villagers in these areas continue to struggle with vision impairment, particularly cataracts, due to limited access to medical care. Through this initiative, we hope to bring healing, hope, and improved quality of life to underserved communities.
This year, the Eye Camp will be conducted at two different locations to make access easier for villagers, especially elderly residents who may find it difficult to travel long distances. Establishing camps in both locations will allow us to reach more people in these remote Himalayan regions near the borders of Tibet and Bhutan.
What We’re Doing
Our medical team will provide free eye examinations and cataract surgeries to those in need under the skilled leadership of Dr. Bidya Prasad Pant. Dr. Bidya has dedicated his career to restoring sight and transforming lives, and we are honored to have him lead this important mission.
Our Team Will Provide:
- Free Eye examinations for hundreds of individuals
- Distribution of prescription glasses to those in need
- Community education on eye health and preventive care
- Procurement of essential medical supplies and equipment
- Distribution of food supplies, clothing, and meals to support the well-being of local residents
We warmly invite you to support this life-changing mission. Your contribution will directly fund medical supplies, surgeries, transportation, and community outreach.
Every donation, large or small, makes a real difference in bringing light to these underserved communities. Thank you for your generosity!
