One project focused on Vision Care Camps in Tsum and Nubri Valley. Many residents suffer from preventable eye conditions like cataracts, which significantly impaired their vision and quality of life. Due to geographical remoteness and economic constraints, accessing specialized medical care was challenging for these communities. The goal was to make a lasting impact by providing comprehensive eye care, including vision screenings, eye examinations, cataract surgeries, and distributing eyeglasses. Dr. Bidya Pant and his team generously offered their time to support the vision care camp.

Following the Eye Camp, the second project began at the request of the elders of Tsum and Nubri Valley. Ven. Donyo took 40 seniors on a pilgrimage to Dharamsala, India, to receive blessings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. For many seniors who had never left their villages, this pilgrimage held immense cultural, spiritual, and psychological significance. It deepened their connection with the teachings of the Dalai Lama and provided a memorable journey of spiritual enrichment.
